Plein air painting Masterclass
Join plein air landscape artist Chris Daynes on the River Orwell at Pin Mill, Suffolk, where he demonstrates his simplified approach to oil painting on location. Without moving more than 100 yards Chris produces four every different landscapes that simply ooze with atmosphere. He demonstrates the stripped down kit he uses for location painting and his choice of colours and materials. He shows how to simplify a scene down to its essentials and then how to turn those element into a wonderful painting.
